A collection of thoughts, quickly formed and soon forgotten

An idea condensed, rose up out of the mists of her mind. She focused on it, safe-guarded it against the distractions of dreams and sleep. In the morning, though, the idea was barely a memory, just a flicker in the night.

If writers had sketchbooks, this would be mine.
